A well crafted dram for its price, the Glen Scotia 15yo. So full and warming that it’s almost hard to believe that is has matured on bourbon casks only.
Our tasting notes:
Minerals, extinguished campfire, barley, warm fruits, tropical and spicy
Subtle sulphur, fire stones, driftwood, tropical fruits and peaches
Full and warming, smoky barley, grilled pineapple, spicy wood, red fruits, nuts, a burnt shed in the woods
Interesting and delicious, a must have, especially if you like single malts from Campbeltown
