Deanston 10yo – Pedro Ximénez Finish
Deanston 10yo PX finish is one of our recent discoveries that made a huge impression.
It has matured in bourbon casks for around 8 years, before being finished in the finest Pedro Ximénez casks.
Tasting notes
Nose
On the nose it’s sweet and floral, with fruit infused oak and honeyed raisins.
Palate
The palate is syrupy, leathery, oaky, sweet and spicy. Notes of vanilla, honey, stewed red fruits, christmas cake and chocolate coated raisins.
Finish
The stewed fruits and chocolate are slowly fading into a sweet and long, drying finish, ending with spicy wood, vanilla ice cream and raisins.
It feels very modern and well balanced. Its elegance is outstanding. We can’t get enough of it!
