Hello readers! We’re back home after a wonderful trip to Islay. We’ve had a great time visiting the (for now) eight working distilleries, tasting lots of drams and talking to the beautiful people living on the island.

We even had the nicest weather, that’s something you won’t see that much on Islay. We’re excited to show you our photos, stories and tasting notes, so we’ll be editing and writing them down soon. Be sure to check out our highlighted story if you haven’t already, so you’ll get a sense of what we’ve been up to.

Here’s one of our favourites, because we couldn’t resist. Bunnahabhain made us feel very welcome and these hand filled bottles are incredible. Especially the 14yo PX one! Paired with the most beautiful views, this certainly was a highlight of our journey.
